“Feng Shui is about a space that makes you feel safe, nurtured and protected.”

“Feng Shui reminds me of a fun way to create safe spaces for creativity, healing and growth through the art of interior design.”

Feng Shui is a way to let your inner artist out.

Feng Shui is the ambiance/energy that each room carries.

Ultimately YOU are your own safe space anywhere you go BUT your home is an option to be a place where you can recharge.

Creating your Feng Shui also helps build a strong connection to your surroundings. This amplifies your awareness around how you can experience a rebalance, especially after a heavy day.

Feng Shui is about trusting your inner artist to create an environment that supports your version of harmony, communication and natural flow of energy.

And don’t pull the “I’m not artsy, etc.” NO EXCUSES, what you like is IT and it is gorgeous dahling.

THAT’S WHY HAVING FENG SHUI IS SO IMPORTANT! The end result is a restorative outlet after a long day. It is a creative tool for getting to know yourself. It’s about opening up to your guests, through conversation starting pieces.

“But what if my guests don’t like what my home looks like?” Then they need to mind their BIZNAZ.

Whatever space you crawl back into to take care of yourself is the heart of you, your stable ground, your plug to recharge.

DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR <3

If you don’t create space for yourself, you absolutely will crumble, age faster and probably die faster – among other things.

Besides, who can get anything done, think clearly, take care of life, have fun, take care of themselves all while experiencing balance in a home full of dusty energy and jumbled messes? I’ll tell you right now – no one.

And if you think you can survive in those conditions then you’ve given up on living.

Which brings me to the importance of cleaning and cleansing.

Yes – there is more than one way to clean other than taking a shower for yourself. I mention this, because I know some of you could go a YEAR without cleaning your actual living quarters.

Let’s begin:

Dusting, vacuuming, organizing, throwing a little bleach here and there, dishes, ETC. We all have been educated on the basic levels of housekeeping.

We all know cleaning isn’t the most exciting thing to do BUT when your level of functional living and experiencing balance depends on it…

Here a few ideas to create a level of enjoyment to the experience:

  • Juice up your cleaners by adding essential oils
  • Lavender to your laundry detergent or to your vacuum
  • Lemon/Lime to your bathroom cleaners
  • Apple/Grapefruit to your kitchen dish soap

This is like giving your smell sensory system a quick drug of

“Mmmmm, more more” just like it is when you walk into a Starbucks or past the pizza place.

NEXT there is another level of cleaning that considers giving your energetic space a cleanse.

What does that mean?? You cleanse the energy with a tool followed by a mental giving of love, safety and harmony.

Out with the dirty dust to sprinkle a little pixie dust on your fun trinkets (aka decor), the air, the entrance way, your kitchen, your bed *wink wink*.. etc. etc.

“What tools can I use to cleanse my environment’s energy?”

  • White Sage (burn for clearing of energy, antimicrobial, protection and raise the vibrations of the space’s energy)
  • Sweeping (physically or energetically, yes we are energy so we are capable to manipulate the exact same energy around us)
  • Incense (understand the elements you use and burn accordingly)

Bottom line is: clean and cleanse your home regularly and while you’re at it, clean and cleanse yourself.

You are your biggest priority hunny and if you’re still focused on other’s opinions then clean and cleanse for them until you start inevitably doing it for yourself.
